Documentation and certificate of authenticity
You can request documentation (biographies, artists' statements and resumes) concerning a particular artist at any time.
A certificate of authenticity and warranty accompany every piece of Inuit art,
certifying their place of origin. To help protect both consumers and
artists, the Government of Canada has registered the igloo symbol as a
registered trademark. Only those sculptures displaying this symbol are deemed authentic,
hand-crafted Inuit pieces. |  |
